Une m\u00e9tamorphose qui t\u00e9moigne de sa volont\u00e9 de s’imposer comme un hub digital majeur sur le continent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

En effet, Alger s\u2019affirme de plus en plus comme une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en mati\u00e8re de transition num\u00e9rique au sein des villes africaines. La capitale alg\u00e9rienne s’est engag\u00e9e dans un processus de modernisation de ses infrastructures urbaines, r\u00e9pondant ainsi aux exigences d’une \u00ab Smart City \u00bb. Selon l\u2019Institut International pour le D\u00e9veloppement du Management (IMD), une ville intelligente int\u00e8gre des technologies avanc\u00e9es pour optimiser la gestion de ses ressources et am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie de ses habitants.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 des d\u00e9fis persistants, tels que la congestion routi\u00e8re et la pollution, Alger a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 se d\u00e9marquer gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses efforts en urbanisation num\u00e9rique. Le Centre de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 mondial de l\u2019IMD a r\u00e9cemment plac\u00e9 Alger en deuxi\u00e8me position parmi les villes africaines les plus intelligentes pour 2024, juste derri\u00e8re Le Caire. Ce classement constant par rapport \u00e0 2023 affirme le r\u00f4le crucial d’Alger dans la transformation num\u00e9rique urbaine en Afrique du Nord.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cependant, sur le plan international, la ville a connu une l\u00e9g\u00e8re r\u00e9gression, passant de la 123\u00e8me \u00e0 la 124\u00e8me place dans le classement mondial. Le Smart City Index (SCI) 2024 r\u00e9v\u00e8le que les villes europ\u00e9ennes continuent de dominer ce classement, tandis que certaines villes nord-am\u00e9ricaines, telles que New York, affichent un d\u00e9clin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour continuer \u00e0 avancer sur cette voie, le gouvernement alg\u00e9rien a \u00e9labor\u00e9 des plans ambitieux visant \u00e0 propulser Alger vers une num\u00e9risation compl\u00e8te. Parmi les initiatives cl\u00e9s pour 2025 figurent la num\u00e9risation totale des services publics, l’impl\u00e9mentation de syst\u00e8mes de transport intelligents et la cr\u00e9ation d’un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me durable.
