Pour cette quatri\u00e8me journ\u00e9e, le programme met en avant le film \u201d Les Chants d\u2019Adam \u201d, \u00e9crit et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par l\u2019Irakien Oday Rashid, une coproduction r\u00e9unissant l\u2019Irak, les Pays-Bas, l\u2019Arabie saoudite et les \u00c9tats-Unis.<br><\/strong><\/em><br><em>L\u2019intrigue du film se d\u00e9roule en 1946 et suit le parcours d\u2019Adam, un jeune gar\u00e7on, et de son fr\u00e8re cadet, t\u00e9moins du rituel de pr\u00e9paration du corps de leur grand-p\u00e8re avant son enterrement. Cette sc\u00e8ne, charg\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9motion et de symbolique, bouleverse profond\u00e9ment Adam, au point de nourrir chez lui une peur grandissante de vieillir et de se voir un jour confront\u00e9 au m\u00eame destin.<br>Le deuxi\u00e8me long-m\u00e9trage pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 est le film jordanien \u00ab\u00a0SimSim\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Sundus Samirat et \u00e9crit par quatre auteures qui signent \u00e0 travers cette \u0153uvre leur premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience cin\u00e9matographique. Cette \u0153uvre raconte l\u2019histoire d\u2019une femme divorc\u00e9e, qui se r\u00e9volte contre un mariage impos\u00e9 et les traditions \u00e9touffantes d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 conservatrice. Cherchant \u00e0 se lib\u00e9rer et \u00e0 s\u2019affirmer, SimSim d\u00e9cide de recommencer sa vie avec sa fille.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em> Il convient de souligner que cette \u00e9dition accorde une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 la promotion des jeunes talents, tout en valorisant des r\u00e9alisateurs dont le travail a d\u00e9j\u00e0 marqu\u00e9 la sc\u00e8ne cin\u00e9matographique arabe.
