L’industrie sid\u00e9rurgique en Alg\u00e9rie conna\u00eet une dynamique sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Dans un contexte de r\u00e9orientation \u00e9conomique, le gouvernement alg\u00e9rien renforce sa strat\u00e9gie de r\u00e9duction des importations pour stimuler la production locale. En t\u00e9moigne la r\u00e9cente annonce du minist\u00e8re du Commerce, qui a \u00e9largi la liste des produits sid\u00e9rurgiques interdits \u00e0 l\u2019importation, visant ainsi \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger l\u2019industrie nationale.<\/em><\/p>\n

En effet, depuis le 1er octobre, l\u2019interdiction d\u2019importation concerne 16 produits sid\u00e9rurgiques, dont les produits lamin\u00e9s, profil\u00e9s, fils de machines, et divers composants essentiels \u00e0 la construction comme les pyl\u00f4nes et charpentes. La d\u00e9cision, relay\u00e9e par l\u2019Association des banques et \u00e9tablissements financiers (ABEF), interdit d\u00e9sormais la domiciliation bancaire pour l’importation de ces produits. L\u2019objectif est clair : permettre aux entreprises locales telles qu’El Hadjar, Tosyali, AQS, et Alphapipe de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande int\u00e9rieure et r\u00e9duire la d\u00e9pendance du pays aux importations.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cette initiative s\u2019inscrit dans la politique du gouvernement visant \u00e0 \u00e9quilibrer la balance commerciale et encourager le \u00ab\u00a0made in Algeria\u00a0\u00bb. En limitant les importations, l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie esp\u00e8re donner un nouveau souffle \u00e0 son industrie et ainsi diversifier son \u00e9conomie. Les producteurs locaux devront non seulement satisfaire les besoins nationaux, mais aussi saisir des opportunit\u00e9s \u00e0 l’international en exportant leurs exc\u00e9dents.<\/em><\/p>\n

Plusieurs entreprises sid\u00e9rurgiques alg\u00e9riennes ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 cet appel avec des projets d\u2019envergure. Tosyali a r\u00e9cemment inaugur\u00e9 une usine de DRI \u00e0 Oran et a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 la construction d’une unit\u00e9 de traitement de minerai de fer \u00e0 B\u00e9char. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le complexe El Hadjar, fleuron historique de l\u2019industrie sid\u00e9rurgique alg\u00e9rienne, poursuit ses efforts d\u2019augmentation de production et d’exportation.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ces initiatives se trouvent renforc\u00e9es par la prochaine exploitation du gisement de fer de Gara Djebilet et la cr\u00e9ation de nouvelles zones industrielles \u00e0 B\u00e9char et Na\u00e2ma. Ces projets devraient fournir aux acteurs locaux un approvisionnement stable en mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re, notamment avec une production annuelle pr\u00e9vue de 10 millions de tonnes de minerai de fer concentr\u00e9 d\u00e8s 2027, chiffre qui pourrait doubler d\u2019ici 2040.<\/em><\/p>\n

Avec ces nouvelles r\u00e9gulations et la mont\u00e9e en puissance des acteurs industriels nationaux, l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie franchit un cap d\u00e9cisif dans sa qu\u00eate d\u2019ind\u00e9pendance \u00e9conomique. L\u2019avenir de l’industrie sid\u00e9rurgique semble prometteur, avec des perspectives d\u2019exportation et un potentiel de production en pleine expansion. Le d\u00e9fi pour le pays r\u00e9side maintenant dans la capacit\u00e9 des industriels \u00e0 innover, investir et augmenter leur productivit\u00e9 pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins internes tout en conqu\u00e9rant des march\u00e9s ext\u00e9rieurs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dans ce contexte, la sid\u00e9rurgie devient un pilier central du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique du pays, contribuant \u00e0 son ambition de diversification et de r\u00e9duction de la d\u00e9pendance aux hydrocarbures.
