Deux anciens hauts responsables de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ont comparu vendredi pour la premi\u00e8re fois devant le juge libanais charg\u00e9 de l’enqu\u00eate sur l’explosion survenue au port de Beyrouth en 2020, ont rapport\u00e9 vendredi des m\u00e9dias, citant une source judiciaire. Apr\u00e8s une suspension de plus de deux ans en raison de pressions politiques, le juge Tarek Bitar a repris en f\u00e9vrier ses interrogatoires sur l’explosion qui a fait plus de 220 morts et plus de 6500 bless\u00e9s. Le magistrat avait repris son investigation apr\u00e8s l’\u00e9lection de Joseph Aoun \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence de la R\u00e9publique et la nomination d’un Premier ministre r\u00e9formateur, Nawaf Salam, qui se sont tous deux engag\u00e9s \u00e0 garantir l’ind\u00e9pendance du pouvoir judiciaire. Selon la source judiciaire cit\u00e9e par des m\u00e9dias, M. Bitar a interrog\u00e9 dans son bureau au Palais de Justice de Beyrouth l’ancien directeur de la S\u00fbret\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, Abbas Ibrahim et l’ancien chef de la S\u00fbret\u00e9 d’Etat, Tony Saliba. Aucun d’eux n’a fait l’objet d’une d\u00e9cision judiciaire \u00e0 ce stade, le juge Bitar attendant la fin de l’ensemble des investigations, d’apr\u00e8s la source. La d\u00e9flagration a \u00e9t\u00e9 provoqu\u00e9e par un incendie dans un entrep\u00f4t o\u00f9 \u00e9taient stock\u00e9es sans pr\u00e9caution des tonnes de nitrate d’ammonium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
