Un m\u00e9morandum<\/a> d’entente sur la contribution d’un million de dollars d\u00e9cid\u00e9e par l’Alg\u00e9rie<\/a> au profit du M\u00e9canisme africain d’\u00e9valuation par les pairs (MAEP) en vue de promouvoir la bonne gouvernance en Afrique a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 dimanche \u00e0 Addis-Abeba par la secr\u00e9taire d’Etat, aupr\u00e8s du ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, charg\u00e9e des Affaires africaines, Selma Bakhta Mansouri et la Directrice ex\u00e9cutive du Secr\u00e9tariat continental du M\u00e9canisme, Marie-Antoinette Rose Quatre, en marge des travaux du 38\u00e8me sommet de l’Union africaine (UA). La signature du m\u00e9morandum d’entente intervient suite \u00e0 l’annonce faite par le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, M. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, lors du 34e Sommet des chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement du MAEP, tenu vendredi sous sa pr\u00e9sidence, de soutenir ce m\u00e9canisme d’\u00e9valuation par une contribution volontaire d’un million de dollars. <\/strong><\/em>
La secr\u00e9taire d’Etat a r\u00e9it\u00e9r\u00e9, \u00e0 l’occasion, l’engagement de l’Alg\u00e9rie en tant que membre fondateur du MAEP et sous la bonne direction du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, \u00e0 r\u00e9activer le m\u00e9canisme pour faire face aux d\u00e9fis de la gouvernance en Afrique, notamment la cons\u00e9cration de la supr\u00e9matie de la loi, la lutte contre la corruption et la promotion des valeurs d\u00e9mocratiques. Exprimant son \u00ab\u00a0immense gratitude\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 l’Alg\u00e9rie qui a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’apporter une contribution volontaire pour soutenir le MAEP, Mme Rose Quatre, a affirm\u00e9 que ce geste t\u00e9moigne du \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9vouement ind\u00e9fectible de l’Alg\u00e9rie \u00e0 l’unit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la coop\u00e9ration africaines\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Je voudrais exprimer ma sinc\u00e8re gratitude \u00e0 l’Alg\u00e9rie pour sa confiance dans le MAEP et pour son engagement ind\u00e9fectible en faveur du panafricanisme, de la renaissance africaine et de la r\u00e9alisation rapide des aspirations de nos peuples telles qu’\u00e9nonc\u00e9es dans notre Agenda 2063 de l’Union africaine\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle soulign\u00e9, dans une d\u00e9claration \u00e0 la presse. Selon Mme Rose Quatre, la contribution du gouvernement alg\u00e9rien \u00e0 cet instrument \u00ab\u00a0permettra certainement au MAEP de s’acquitter de son mandat et d’obtenir des r\u00e9sultats tangibles\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
