Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, organis\u00e9 par la Chambre nationale d&rsquo;agriculture en coordination avec l&rsquo;Union nationale des agriculteurs alg\u00e9riens UNPA , a vu la participation d&rsquo;\u00e9leveurs, d&rsquo;agriculteurs et maquignons des wilayas de Tlemcen, A\u00efn Temouchent, Gharda\u00efa, Chlef, Oran, Mostaganem, Mascara, Sa\u00efda, Sidi Bel Abbes et Bechar. Intervenant \u00e0 cette occasion, le pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre nationale d&rsquo;agriculture, M. Hambli Mohamed Yazid, a soulign\u00e9 que le secteur de la viande rouge et de l&rsquo;\u00e9levage repr\u00e9sente un \u00ab\u00a0pilier fondamental\u00a0\u00bb pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire nationale et un \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb dans le syst\u00e8me de production animale, essentiel pour l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie en vue d&rsquo;assurer l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre et la stabilit\u00e9. Il a averti que ce \u00ab\u00a0secteur vital fait face \u00e0 des crises complexes et des d\u00e9fis mena\u00e7ant sa stabilit\u00e9 et sa p\u00e9rennit\u00e9, notamment la s\u00e9cheresse persistante, l&rsquo;augmentation des co\u00fbts de production, les maladies et la diminution du cheptel\u00a0\u00bb. M. Hambli a ajout\u00e9 que la relance de ce secteur et son retour \u00e0 la croissance et \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessitent l&rsquo;adoption d&rsquo;une approche globale et de mesures d\u00e9cisives pour lui redonner sa place et son r\u00f4le essentiel, notamment en renfor\u00e7ant le syst\u00e8me v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire par la fourniture de vaccins et de m\u00e9dicaments n\u00e9cessaires en temps voulu, en cr\u00e9ant des laboratoires v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires modernes, en \u00e9tablissant des points d&rsquo;eau et en luttant contre les pratiques nuisibles, dont l&rsquo;abattage des femelles, et en imposant un contr\u00f4le strict des abattoirs ainsi que le d\u00e9veloppement des races locales. Il a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il est imp\u00e9ratif d&rsquo;accorder une \u00ab\u00a0attention particuli\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 environnementale dans les zones de p\u00e2turage, tout en tenant compte des conditions sociales des \u00e9leveurs, afin de garantir leur stabilit\u00e9, ce qui aura un impact positif sur la production et la continuit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9. Il a \u00e9galement insist\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;importance de former les \u00e9leveurs et leurs enfants par des programmes de formation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, leur permettant d&rsquo;acqu\u00e9rir les derni\u00e8res m\u00e9thodes modernes bas\u00e9es sur la science de l&rsquo;\u00e9levage durable. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l&rsquo;Union nationale des agriculteurs alg\u00e9riens, M. Abdelatif Dilmi , a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de fournir des quantit\u00e9s suffisantes de mati\u00e8res fourrag\u00e8res pour contrer les interm\u00e9diaires, de cr\u00e9er des points d&rsquo;eau, des dispensaires v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires et des laboratoires d&rsquo;analyses m\u00e9dicales \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des \u00e9leveurs et des cultivateurs, afin de d\u00e9velopper ce secteur. Il a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9conis\u00e9 un renforcement de la surveillance des abattoirs pour prot\u00e9ger et am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 du cheptel, augmenter la productivit\u00e9 et renforcer la durabilit\u00e9 environnementale dans les zones de p\u00e2turage et les hauts plateaux, tout en redynamisant la production de viande rouge selon une approche scientifique et strat\u00e9gique. M. Dilmi a conclu en soulignant que \u00ab\u00a0le secteur de la viande rouge est l&rsquo;un des plus importants pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s d&#8217;emploi et stimuler la croissance \u00e9conomique\u00a0\u00bb, insistant sur le soutien \u00e0 la recherche scientifique pour accro\u00eetre la production, pr\u00e9server les races et encourager l&rsquo;investissement dans ce domaine.
